Users
Every user is assigned an appropriate account type based on their role. Internal account types are for members of the Operator's organization while external account types are for Customers and Developers using the Operator's network.
User accounts can be created, edited, deleted and exported to a CSV file from the Users page under Administration. New accounts created from the login page are assigned the Developer role by default, but can be upgraded to accommodate other roles as needed.

Account Types
The account type determines the feature set and data accessible to the user. Internal account types give users access to network wide data and include features to manage customers, monitor resources and operate the network. External account types are for customers and developers who are using the operator's network.
Internal Account Types
Operator - Admin
Administrators have the ability to manage users, customers and applications in addition to having all the RAN Manager features.
Operator - RAN Manager
RAN Managers can register, manage and monitor LoRaWAN Base Stations on the operator's RAN (Radio Access Network).
Operator - RAN Manger - Read Only
RAN Manager Read Only users can monitor everything RAN Managers have access to, e.g. LoRaWAN Base Stations on the Operator's RAN (Radio Access Network).
Operator - Read Only
Read Only Operators have access to the Dashboard, Alerts, and Cases views, but are not allowed to make any changes.
Billing - Read Only
Billing Read Only users are only allowed access to billing data for each of a Customer's Applications.
External Account Types
Developer
Developers have tools to connect, manage and monitor LoRaWAN enabled devices and gateways.
Application Provider
Application Providers are customers of the operator who pay for service and manage one or more applications.
Note
The Developer account type can be combined with the Application Provider account type. This allows users to leverage the Developer features while managing production applications.
Application Provider - Read Only
Read Only Application Providers have access to the same views as an Application Provider, but are not allowed to make any changes.
Feature Access Roles
The feature access roles grant users, with the Developer account type, access to new and advanced features. Multiple roles can be selected for each Developer user.
Account
The Application Provider account types must be assigned an account. The account is used to track and manage the customer's data and assets. A user can only be assigned to one account.
Two Factor Authentication
Administrators can enable two-factor authentication for end users.
-
Click the two-factor authentication in the Edit User dialog.
-
Make sure the user's information includes a valid phone number before saving.
-
When the user logs into the Portal, they will be sent an authentication code to the registered phone number.
-
That authentication code is entered to complete the login.
